Philips brightened up the world of young students and families during the handover of Solar Lamps and Cookstoves as part of their Gift of Light initiative.
Even though the lightbulb was invented more than a century ago, for most families living without access to electricity, the day begins and ends in darkness – cutting short on family time, study time and play time.
