Overview

FNB is one of the biggest banks in South Africa, and continues set the standard in banking innovation. Digital Fire helps the banking giant to gain exposure through email marketing campaigns that range from promotional to viral.

Objectives

FNB approached Digital Fire with the aim of increasing the amount of businesses that bank with it. It was targeting a variety of companies and wanted them to switch from their current bank to FNB.

Target audience

Digital Fire decided that it would be best to target a database containing only the decisions makers within a business. These individuals would include CEOs, MDs, and business owners of SMEs. The campaign would be a nationwide project.

Solution

Our solution was to broadcast a one page promotional, HTML mailer that would make use of a strong call to action. The design would make use of a clear and concise diagram that would provide the message as soon as the email was open.

Results

The results, as is expected, were incredible. FNB experienced an open rate of 22.27% and click through rate of 1.62%.
