It’s one of the biggest brand-building events of 2015, and has attracted a considerable audience already – over 3500 guests and counting. Set to take place from the 8th to the 11th of September in Cleveland, Ohio, the Content Marketing World convention is not to be missed. Last year’s event drew considerable admiration, as keynote speakers delivered unprecedented presentations, while attendees where equipped with content marketing resources and an environment to network.

So what does the 2015 Content Marketing World convention have in store for us? Even if you’re not physically attending, everyone in the digital marketing world has a lot to gain from the convention. Here are a few highlights you can expect.

Over 200 Speakers Will Present at the Content Marketing World

Last year’s event was graced by the likes of CEO of Unmarketing, Scott Stratten and, two times Academy Award winner, Kevin Spacey. Stratten delivered a profound presentation, discussing the positive impact that quick responses have on increasing social engagement. Spacey, taking queues from the success of his popular series House of Cards, gave a riveting closing keynote that showed how content marketing is as effective in entertainment as it is in marketing.

This year the organisers of the Content Marketing World convention have pulled out all the stops, bringing together the biggest names from a wide variety of industries to speak at the event. We’re not just talking about influential digital marketers such as Rand Fishkin and Scott Stratten here. We’re talking about a powerful line-up that includes award-winning actors such as Nick Offerman and John Cleese.

Nick Offerman, better known for his role as Ron Swanson in Parks and Recreation, will give the closing keynote. And, if his antics on Parks and Recreation are anything to go by, attendees are going to be entertained throughout. But entertainment isn’t the only specialty Offerman is good at. As an author, he knows a thing or two about content marketing, which he is bound to display while presenting.

The Agenda Promises to Educate and Entertain

At the precipice of this year’s convention lies powerful topics such as the importance of storytelling and investing in content financially. Head of media operations at Taboola, Andrew Milk, will deliver a presentation about how marketers can use content to drive ROI, while Tom Webster, Vice President of Edison Research, will discuss ways to create consumable content for mobile.

These are but a few of the topics that will be discussed, promising to educate attendees. All of the topics will seek to teach those in attendance about the importance of using content effectively in digital, which can grow a brand’s engagement and revenue.

While the Content Marketing World convention will have over 150 sessions for marketers to attend, another core pillar of the event will be networking. It will be an opportunity for those in attendance to share ideas with others and also create partnerships.

We’ll be following the Content Marketing World convention closely, as it is one of the biggest events in the digital marketing world. There is so much to learn from the great minds who will speak at the event and we can’t wait for it to begin.
